Looking at stills from the video, we think the cloth roof is being used as a clever covering to hide the glass from the Targa roof. The back roofline also looks a bit, well, off for lack of a better term. But with all the development gear strapped on test cars these days, it could very easily be radio or data cables bulking things up.

Do remember, however,that the 991 Cabriolet has already been released, leading credence to the disguised Targa theory.

Then again, maybe we’re just a bit too eager for Porsche news.
